We are obsessed with member experience. Always have been.
After 17+ years and counting (right here in Jack London!), we believe this obsession matters. And in all those years we have learned, learned, and learned some more. We have tested different services, pricing, events and programs. And with well over 10,000 Oakland neighbors served, we have a pretty good idea what works.
And what we determined is, there is a sweet spot. Where the gym, the community has a certain hum that you just want to be around. It’s addictive in all the right ways. Too big and the hum becomes deafening. Too small and you start to look around and lose momentum.
We are lasering in on that sweet spot. It means we can turn all our attention to the people inside our doors.
Once we have reached our cap, all our attention will turn to our active members. As spots become available, we will notify folks who are signed up and waiting to check it out.
