MEMBER PROTOCOLS

If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID -  sore throat, fever, headache, upset stomach, cough, loss of taste and/or smell etc let Urban Fitness know immediately. Do not come to workout! Do not wait it out to see if it turns into something! STAY HOME PLEASE.

  • WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES. If you need to remove it at your workout station during intense exercise, go ahead. But please put it back before leaving your station.

  • Sanitize your equipment well after! There is also Hand Sanitizer at the Sanitation Stations - use it generously!

  • If you need to use the bathroom or wash your hands, please use the Semi Private side marked “Member Bathroom”.

  • If you need to use the water fountain, please use it to fill your water bottle only, do not use the fountain function. #bringabottle

  • Do not use or take equipment from inside the facility without asking a staff member first please!

  • Remember, different people have different comfort levels. So unless they are wearing a t-shirt that says “Hug Me Now” respect people’s space. 🙏🏼

EXPOSURE

What happens if a staff member or member is exposed to COVID? The following protocol will be followed: 

  1. We will notify all members and staff immediately

  2. We will close the facility immediately 

  3. The entire studio, all equipment and every single surface and handle will be fumigated/disinfected with an electrostatic sprayer. 

  4. Every member of the staff will get tested for COVID

  5. We will provide the last two weeks of visits by this person so you can determine if you were exposed and whether you should get tested. 

Once we can confirm the facility is sterilized and the staff is healthy to return, we will reopen. We will do this as quickly as possible without skipping any of the critical steps listed above.

Electrostatic Spraying is a state-of-the-art technology that puts an electrical charge on the disinfectant molecules as they are sprayed. But why?! This allows the disinfectant to actively wrap around any object it is sprayed at. This ensures that every square inch of the item or area being sprayed is being disinfected.
